Aregbesola receives the man sent to assassinate him

Aregbesola, the former governor of OSUN State, has received a middle-aged man who he claims was dispatched to assassinate him in 2006.

Aregbesola, who posted on Facebook, said he discovered that the young man called a radio station a few weeks ago to repent and ask for forgiveness.

The previous governor stated that he prayed for him.

“While praying for him, I assured him I bear no grudges against him and anyone involved”, he said, adding it is God alone who has the power to forgive all our shortcomings.
