The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into the International Master of Science Program in Embedded Artificial Intelligence ((link unavailable) Embedded AI). The program is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union (EU) and is a collaboration involving three European universities and five Nigerian universities.
The program aims to equip graduates with the latest digital trends, enhancing employability and entrepreneurial skills. It also facilitates engagement between Nigerian Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) and various EU HEIs, fostering globalization and technological advancement aligned with specific preferences and expectations.
As stated by the program administrators, “The program will provide access to state-of-the-art equipment and a carefully designed curriculum that enhances employability across national boundaries.”
To be eligible for admission, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
– Five O’Level credit passes, including English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry
– A Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second-Class Lower division (2:2) in any of the Engineering disciplines, ICT, or Physical Sciences
– Candidates with an Upper Credit pass in the Postgraduate Diploma in the fields mentioned above would also be considered
The (link unavailable) Embedded AI degree is a full-time program with a minimum duration of three semesters and a maximum of six semesters, translating to a minimum of 18 months. The courses will be delivered using a blended learning approach (physical and virtual participation), facilitating interaction and knowledge sharing between students and faculty from different countries.
Prospective applicants can complete and submit an online application form at N11,000 through the ATBU School of Postgraduate Studies website from January 27 to February 27, 2025. Applicants are required to upload scanned copies of their credentials and ensure that only valid email addresses and phone numbers are used for further correspondence.
As emphasized by the program administrators, “No candidate will be considered for admission without transcripts.” Therefore, applicants must arrange with their previous institutions to forward hard copies of their academic transcripts to the program coordinator.
