Chris Martin, frontman of the renowned British band Coldplay, has expressed strong confidence in Nigerian artist Ayra Starr, predicting that she is on track to become one of the biggest global pop sensations.

Martin made this remark while introducing the Afrobeats singer during Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour stop at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

“This is Ayra Starr from Nigeria. She is going to be the world’s biggest pop-star so soon,” the multiple Grammy-winner said.

Ayra Starr took the stage to perform her collaborative single with Coldplay, Good Feelings, as well as her latest release, Hot Body. Among the high-profile attendees at the show were football icon Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonela.

In a related development, Ayra Starr has publicly refuted claims that her new five-year deal with Roc Nation includes a condition preventing her from dating or starting a family.

Responding to the speculation on her X account, the Sability crooner clarified that she is unaware of any such restriction in her contract.
