In the Mairuwa village, Faskari local government area of Katsina State, a politician simply known as Alhaji Lado was killed by bandits.

While worshippers were holding Ramadan prayers on Saturday night, ZINGTIE learned that the attack took place at the village mosque.

The incident’s specifics are still hazy at this time.

However, it was discovered that the victim’s death resulted from his refusal to follow his killers’ demands.

According to one of the mosque attack survivors who spoke with Daily Trust, Alhaji Lado’s wife and two daughters were abducted by the gunmen.

Another eyewitness claimed that a health professional just known as Sani was among the attack’s victims.

“He worked at the Mairuwa Health Facility,” the witness said.

One of the states most severely struck by bandits is Katsina.

Numerous attempts to hold criminals accountable have failed to produce the intended outcome.

The regrettable development has not yet prompted a response from the Katsina State police leadership.
