After defeating Athletic Bilbao 2-0 on Wednesday, Barcelona advanced to the Super Cup final.

The Catalans will participate in the final for the third year in a row.

Barca won in Jeddah thanks to goals from Gavi and Lamine Yamal.

Seven minutes after halftime, Yamal increased their lead after Gavi had taken the lead in the seventeenth minute.

With 14 trophies, Barcelona is the most successful team in the Super Cup. On Sunday, they will play the winners of the second semi-final between Real Madrid and Mallorca, the current holders.

On Thursday, Real Madrid and Mallorca will play each other.
