This was disclosed by respected Turkish journalist Yakup Çınar, who also revealed that Osimhen will wear the No. 9 jersey at Galatasaray if Mauro Icardi decides to leave the Turkish Super Lig champions this summer.

Çınar stated this while sharing information about the yellow-red team’s transfer agenda on the 90+ Digital YouTube channel.

“There have been verbal offers of around 110-120 Euros for Victor Osimhen from Galatasaray,” Çınar said.

“Galatasaray management wants to make Osimhen captain next season. In the scenario where Icardi doesn’t stay, Osimhen will wear the number nine jersey next season,” he stated.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray from Napoli and has helped them to win back-to-back Super Lig titles.
