Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has responded to the House of Representatives’ decision to shut down all pornographic websites across the country.

The House of Representatives recently directed the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the telecoms regulator, to block access to all adult websites nationwide.

Reacting on X, Blaqbonez suggested that the ban was an example of misplaced priorities.

Using popular adult star Destiny Mira as an example, the rapper argued that adult films “help” people get through tough times.

“This country is funny. Destiny Mira, who helps us through tough times, and they want to ban her,” he wrote.
