Controversial self-proclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO, and her partner, IVD, have taken the decision to deactivate their social media accounts following the ongoing controversy surrounding her cancer claim.

The Cancer Claim and Backlash

A few days ago, Blessing CEO publicly announced that she had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and solicited financial assistance from the public for her treatment. However, the situation quickly took a turn when she faced accusations of fraud.

She was dragged online after it was alleged that she had edited a cancer patient’s medical report to make it appear as though it was hers. The claims sparked outrage among netizens.

A Change of Heart

In response to the backlash, Blessing CEO appeared to backtrack on her original statement, saying in an interview, “I don’t have stage 4 cancer. That was a miscommunication.”

Public Outrage and Demands for Refunds

Following her U-turn, many internet users condemned her actions and demanded that the money donated by well-meaning individuals be returned.

The Social Media Deactivation

In the latest twist to the saga, Blessing CEO and her partner, IVD, a Lagos-based celebrity auto dealer, have now deactivated their social media accounts. ZINGTIE confirmed on Sunday evening that both of them have removed their Instagram pages, adding another layer to the unfolding controversy.
