Bobrisky, an embattled Nigerian transgender, has sworn never to accept any awards or recognition intended for women.

He said this while blaming the actress Eniola Ajao’s prize for his troubles.

According to ZINGTIE, Bobrisky won the title of “Best Dressed Female” during the March 2024 film premiere of Eniola Ajao.

Bobrisky received a six-month jail sentence after the EFCC detained him for misusing naira during the award event.

A leaked audio recording of the crossdresser saying that he served his sentence in a lavish flat and bribed EFCC officials to avoid money laundering allegations against him appeared online shortly after his jail sentence.

Along with causing online uproar, the development resulted in his re-arrest.

Speaking after leaving the nation, Bobrisky said that Eniola Ajao’s prize was the first step in his troubles.

In an Instagram story post, Bobrisky reflected on his experience, “My problem started when I collected the best dressed female award with N1 million prize.

“For my life, if I see an award for best dressed female I go disappear from that location ASAP. Everyone knows the truth that I am a baddie with class, you wanna compete with me? Your mummy never!!!! But when the problem wan too much make I run,” he said.

As at the time this story was filed, Eniola Ajao had not yet addressed the allegations.
