BREAKING: All Delta PDP Reps defect to APC

Officially, every member of the Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and House of Representatives has switched to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Tajudeen Abbas, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, announced their defection during Tuesday’s session.

Recall that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and former Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa left the PDP for the APC.

In Asaba, Delta State, Oborevwori and Okowa declared their defection at a stakeholders’ meeting.

Ikenga Ugochinyere, a member of the House of Representatives representing Imo State’s Ideato Federal constituency, revealed that 40 lawmakers and two more state governors on the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) platform would soon resign in the wake of their defections.

The PDP will be repositioned despite the defections, according to former Senate President Bukola Saraki, who emphasized that anyone who wishes to defect is allowed to do so.
