BREAKING: CAC shifts Implementation of revised service fees to October 1

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has announced a new deferment of the implementation of revised fees for its services, moving the date to October 1, 2025.

In a public notice issued on Saturday in Abuja, the Commission explained that the decision was taken to allow full stabilisation of its upgraded Company Registration Portal (CRP) before mid-September.

“The Management of CAC wishes to inform the general public that the implementation of the revised fees for its services has now been shifted to October 1, 2025. This adjustment is to enable us prioritise the complete stabilisation of the new Company Registration Portal,” the notice read.

The Commission recalled that it had earlier postponed the initial commencement date of August 1 due to technical challenges on the new platform.

According to CAC, the latest extension is designed to ensure a smooth and seamless transition into the revised regime of services

“This deferment is aimed at delivering optimum value to our customers and stakeholders while guaranteeing uninterrupted service delivery,” the Commission stated.

It further noted that the adjustment demonstrates its “strong determination to provide efficient and customer-centric services that meet global standards.”

The CAC also expressed gratitude to its clients for their cooperation during what it described as a sensitive reform process.

“We appreciate the patience, understanding, and support of our customers and stakeholders during this critical phase of transformation,” it added.
