Currently in Nigeria is a US member of Congress who represents the Second District of Virginia.

The politician claimed to have entered the nation on behalf of Americans in a post on his official X handle on Sunday.

He said, “I came to Nigeria in the name of the Lord and on behalf of the American people.

“Just ending a very productive visit to Nigeria and rounds of meetings. More details to come. Happy Sunday. God is Great!”

Moore did not provide specifics on his trip to Nigeria, but it might have anything to do with the current inquiry into claims of Christian genocide in Nigeria.

Some US legislators have maintained that Islamic radicals are targeting Christians despite the Nigerian government’s accusations of genocide against Christians.
