BREAKING: Court grants Abba Kyari two-week bail

Former DCP Abba Kyari, Commander of the Force Intelligence Response Team, has been granted two weeks’ bail by an Abuja Federal High Court.

According to the court, Kyari was given a two-week bail so he could go back home and finish his mother’s funeral rites.

The court then scheduled Friday, May 31 for the adjudication of his bail application

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has charged Kyari with drug-related offences, and he is currently on trial.

The NDLEA detained the former IRT CEO on February 14, 2022.
