BREAKING: NNPCL reduces fuel price after Dangote Refinery, depot owners cut rates

Following a decrease in ex-depot prices by Dangote Refinery and depot owners, Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited lowered the price of their premium motor spirit pump.

The state-owned company has cut its fuel price from N945 to N930 per litre, according to a ZINGTIE writer who visited gas stations in Abuja on Thursday.

NNPCL retail locations in Kubwa Expressway, Gwarimpa, Wuse Zone 4, Zone 6, and filling stations in Abuja and the surrounding areas have all undergone the downward adjustment.

This indicates that NNPCL lowered the retail price of their fuel by N10 per litre.

ZINGTIE also noted that petrol pump prices at other Nigerian gas stations, such Ranoil in Gwarimpa, have dropped by N5, from N940 to N935 per litre.

In a similar vein, petrol is being dispensed at MRS and AP Ardova filling stations in Abuja between N930 and N935.

As of Thursday morning, Dangote Refinery and depot owners including Pinnacle and Aiteo lowered ex-depot prices by at least N10 to N846, N845, and N844 per litre, respectively.

Earlier, Chinedu Ukadike, the spokesperson for the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), told ZINGTIE that as the ongoing battle over petrol pricing increases, gasoline prices may continue to decline.
