UCL: Jamie Carragher names best team in Europe

Arsenal is currently the finest team in Europe, according to Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher.

Carragher made his remarks following Arsenal’s 3-1 victory over Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners defeated the Bundesliga heavyweights thanks to three goals from Gabriel Martinelli, Noni Madueke, and Jurrien Timber.

Carragher stated via CBS Sports following the match, “Arsenal are the best team in Europe right now,”

“The only thing that we said before the game, and we are saying it with Bayern but we are saying it more with Arsenal because they have just beaten them well, it’s whether they can still be the best team in Europe by May.

“There is a long way to go but no one can get near them right now.”

This weekend, Arsenal will play Chelsea in the Premier League.
