The position of Vice-Chancellor at the Federal University Lokoja, Nigeria, will become vacant on February 14, 2026. The university’s council has initiated the process for selecting and appointing a new vice-chancellor and invites applications from interested, suitably qualified, and distinguished academics.

The Federal University Lokoja, established in 2011, has made significant progress since its inception, growing from two faculties and 11 programmes to 13 faculties, including a College of Health Sciences and a College of Post-Graduate Studies, with a total of 60 programmes. The University is committed to expanding access to tertiary education and contributing to Nigeria’s economic, political, technological, and cultural development
