The rulings of the Federal High Court and Court of Appeal, which dismissed Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the PDP’s national secretary, have been overturned by the Supreme Court.

According to information obtained by ZINGTIE, a five-member panel of the highest court ruled on Friday that the PDP’s national secretary dispute crosses the line into a political party’s internal affairs, which is not subject to the rule of law.

The Supreme Court’s lead judge, Justice Jamilu Tukur, subsequently overturned the trial court’s October ruling from last year and overturned the Court of Appeal’s majority ruling, which had upheld Anyanwu’s dismissal as PDP National Secretary in December.
