Brighton & Hove Albion Women have extended their congratulations to Chiamaka Nnadozie following her nomination for the 2025 Ballon d’Or Yachine Trophy.
Nnadozie is one of five goalkeepers shortlisted for the prestigious award, marking her first-ever nomination for the honour.
The 24-year-old earned the recognition due to her standout displays with her former club, Paris FC.
She played a key role in helping Paris FC secure the Coupe de France Féminine title in May and was instrumental in Nigeria’s recent triumph at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations held in Morocco.
Brighton celebrated her achievement with a post on social media.
“Congratulations to #WAFCON24 winner @NadozieChiamaka with a well-deserved #BallonDor Yachine Trophy nomination!,” the Seagulls wrote on X.
