When Arsenal plays Bayern Munich in their quarterfinal second leg, legendary Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes the squad will “glide through” to the Champions League semifinals.
After last week’s 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium, the tie is in a fantastic position.
For the first time since 2009, the Gunners hope to advance to the competition’s final four.
Wenger thinks his old team might profit from Bayern’s lacklustre performance under Thomas Tuchel.
He said on beIN SPORTS: “Arsenal against Bayern Munich is a 50-50 game.
“Bayern have recently been vulnerable at home in the Bundesliga, they lost to Dortmund in a very important game so they will not be 100% confident.
“I still think Arsenal might just glide through against Bayern.”
