Change your approach, accept defeat – Amorim tells Man Utd players

Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has called on his players to adjust their mindset for every match following their 1-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Amorim also urged the Red Devils to move on from their defeat to Tottenham and concentrate on their upcoming fixture.

It should be noted that James Maddison’s goal secured all three points for Spurs against Amorim’s side.

The loss to Ange Postecoglou’s team leaves Manchester United in 15th place.

In his post-match interview, Amorim stated: “It was tough. When we create opportunities but don’t score, it becomes really difficult.”

“Losing games and losing players, they have to change their approach to every game.

“We need to focus on the next game and forget the past. They will see me with energy to move forward and prepare for the next game.”

Manchester United’s next Premier League match is against Everton on Saturday, February 22.
