Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, is set to return to Nigeria before the end of the month to scout players in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Chelle, who took over as Super Eagles head coach in January, is currently touring Europe to meet with the team’s top players.
Along with his assistant, Hedi Taboubi, Chelle visited England-based players Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi last week, according to reports.
The duo also met with Nantes winger Moses Simon in France.
Chelle will continue his European tour this week and plans to attend several NPFL matches upon his return to Nigeria.
The Super Eagles are scheduled to face Rwanda’s Amavubi in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match on Friday, March 21, in Kigali.
Nigeria will then take on Zimbabwe’s Warriors four days later at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
