At least four clubs have already secured their spots in the 2029 Club World Cup.
These teams are Paris Saint-Germain, Al Ahli, Cruz Azul, and Pyramids.
The final of the 2025 edition, which features the new expanded 32-team format, will take place this Sunday between Chelsea and PSG.
Previously held every year, the Club World Cup is now scheduled every four years under the revamped system.
Already confirmed for the 2029 tournament, PSG earned their place by winning this year’s UEFA Champions League, where they convincingly defeated Inter Milan 5-0.
Joining the Ligue 1 champions is Mexico’s Cruz Azul, who qualified by winning the 2025 CONCACAF Champions Cup.
Egyptian side Pyramids FC secured their spot by claiming the CAF Champions League title, while Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli qualified as champions of the AFC Champions League Elite.
