The type of weapons used in the recent US bombings in Nigeria made it impossible to recover the physical remains of terrorists who had been neutralized, according to Gen. Christopher Musa (Rtd), Minister of Defense.

According to reports, Musa stated in an interview on Arise Television’s Prime Time program on Thursday that the terrorists were destroyed by employing state-of-the-art weapons, like Tomahawk missiles, which left no trace.

He said, “The way they were neutralized, you wouldn’t see anything, so they wouldn’t know, the Tomahawks were a novel kind of weapon.”

Reports of many Tomahawk missiles failing to detonate were part of military strategy, according to the defense commander.
