Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembélé has extended his best wishes to Inter Miami star Lionel Messi, hoping the legendary forward continues to break records in Major League Soccer.
Dembélé shared the message on his X account after PSG’s convincing 4–0 victory over Inter Miami in their FIFA Club World Cup round-of-16 clash on Sunday.
The French international also praised Messi, calling him the greatest footballer of all time.
The match marked a reunion between the former Barcelona teammates, who shared an emotional moment on the pitch—their first since Messi left PSG.
Dembélé, who came off the bench for PSG in what was his debut appearance at the Club World Cup, headed straight to Messi after the final whistle. The pair embraced warmly, and in a touching gesture, Messi handed Dembélé his full match kit, including the iconic number 10 shirt and his shorts.
Dembele later posted a picture alongside Messi on social media which he captioned: “Good to see you again @leomessi, the greatest of all time.. I hope you continue to make history with the @intermiamicf as in this World Club.”
