U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his enjoyment of the Club World Cup final as Chelsea took a commanding 3-0 lead over Paris Saint-Germain by halftime on Sunday night.

Trump shared his thoughts during a halftime interview with DAZN Football at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Chelsea dominated the first half with two goals from Cole Palmer and another from Joao Pedro, putting them firmly ahead of the French champions.

Reflecting on the match, the former president said he was thoroughly enjoying the event.

“I’m having a really great time,” Trump told DAZN Football.

“This is a tremendous sport,” he added.

Following a strong second half, Chelsea held onto their lead, sealing a 3-0 win over PSG to claim the Club World Cup title.
