Babachir Lawal, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), showed off his conceit in a national television interview on Tuesday.

A video showing the former SGF addressing TVC News presenter Nifemi Oguntoye, “Give me a break, my friend,” during the live show has gone popular on social media. Quit talking! What’s wrong with you?

When Oguntoye contrasted the 2019 election process under Muhammadu Buhari with the 2023 election process that resulted in Tinubu, Lawal, who finds nothing admirable in the administration of Bola Tinubu, became enraged.

Buhari named Lawal SGF on August 27, 2015; however, on April 19, 2017, Lawal was suspended from office, and on October 30, 2017, he was formally fired.

He just left the All Progressives Congress (APC) and joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC), a new coalition political party whose main goal is to overthrow President Tinubu through the electoral process in 2027.
