“We want you to know that your efforts have not gone unnoticed. You are the best, and you’ve made our school proud. Don’t fall victim to bad influences—be good role models. We believe in you, and this token is a way to show our support. Society is watching, and greater recognition will come your way if you continue to stand out among your peers,” the representatives emphasised. They also advised the students to remain diligent, avoid negative peer pressure, and strive for excellence, noting that “with greater dedication and seriousness, the sky will be your stepping stone.

The Principal of Abadina College Senior School, Mrs Esther Rolayo Adegbayo, expressed gratitude to the 1996 set for promoting academic excellence. “Abadina is known for greatness and service. The class of 1996, who graduated nearly 30 years ago, have deemed it fit to invest in the next generation. In another 30 years, you too will come back to give back to this school,” she said.

“If you win the World Cup, the victory is yours first, then your family and your community share in it. Today, you have won one—academic excellence—and this cash reward is a well-deserved honour. We deeply appreciate this generous gesture, especially as the 1996 set prepares to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their graduation next year,” Mrs. Adegbayo added.
