The late singer Mohbad’sMohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, has filed a lawsuit in the Lagos State Magistrate Court in Ikorodu, asking for a DNA test for his grandson Liam.

The head of the Aloba family’s legal team, Monisola Odumosu, signed a statement announcing this.

The statement said, “A date has been fixed for mention of the application for a DNA test by the family of late singer Ilerioluwa Promise Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad, who died in an unusual circumstance on September 12, 2023.

“All necessary legal apparatus is (sic) in place towards the success of the matter. The application is at the Ikorodu Magistrate Court (MKD/31/FAM/2024), Joseph Aloba v Cynthia Omowunmi Aloba.

“The family, represented by the deceased’s father, is seeking an order directing a deoxyribonucleic acid test to be conducted following the paternity of an alleged son of Mr Ilerioluwa Promise Oladimeji Aloba (deceased), Liam Aloba, in a recognised and accredited private or government medical facility within Lagos State, Nigeria at the expense of the applicant.”

ZINGTIE reports that Mohbad’sMohbad’s father recently requested that the police probe his daughter-in-law Omowunmi over the singer’ssinger’s cause of death.
