Davido makes fresh vow after loosing Grammy award

Nigerian artist David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is nominated for a Grammy and has promised to persevere despite not winning.

According to the ZINGTIE, Tyla, the only non-Nigerian contender in the inaugural Best African Music Performance category, won the 66th Grammy Awards on Sunday, beating out Davido and other Nigerian nominees.

The leader of DMW also failed to win his nominations for Best Global Music Performance and Best Global Music Album.

Many of his followers felt angry by his Grammy defeat and accused the organisers of being complicit.

But speaking to his followers through X, Davido reaffirmed his love for them and gave them his word that he “will continue to deliver” and that he won’t give up.

He posted on his X handle, “I just want you to feel alright,”.

“I love each and everyone of you !! We Dey game!! We will continue to deliver.”
