Nigerian music superstar Davido has stirred reactions on social media after sharing a humorous yet thought-provoking message about showing kindness to others.

The singer reflected on the unpredictable nature of life, noting that acts of kindness can sometimes lead to unexpected outcomes.

“In life, you never know where your kindness can take you. It can either take you up or down,” Davido said.

However, just as many people expected the award-winning artiste to end with a conventional motivational message, he added an unexpected twist:

“That is why when you help people, always keep receipts. Don’t play with me.”

The remark, delivered in Davido’s characteristic humorous manner, has since generated conversations online.

Many social media users agreed with the singer’s point, arguing that although helping others remains a noble act, keeping records of such assistance could sometimes prevent future misunderstandings.
