The Delta State All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership has broken its silence to congratulate Senator Prince Ned Nwoko, who represents the Delta North constituency, on his choice to join the party.

According to the party, Nwoko’s defection from the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP, heralds a fresh and exciting chapter in Delta State’s political scene.

“We are confident that his wealth of experience, leadership qualities, and commitment to the development of our state will be transformative,” according to APC.

In a goodwill message congratulating the senator’s admission to the APC, the state party chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, stated that Nwoko, a recognised political leader, philanthropist, and businessman, has always exhibited an unshakeable commitment to the welfare of Deltans.

“His decision to align with the APC signals a strategic step towards bringing about positive change and good governance for the people of Delta,” he affirmed.

Sobotie went on to say that Nwoko’s presence in the APC will act as a catalyst for much-needed reforms and progress in Delta State, as his influence and extensive network will undoubtedly strengthen the party’s position in the state, “further solidifying our commitment to creating a better future for all Deltans.”

Highlighting Nwoko’s track record of championing his people’s interests, as well as his passion for sustainable development, the APC state chairman assured him that the party’s entire membership welcomes him warmly and looks forward to working together to foster greater unity, development, and prosperity in Delta State.
