Destiny Etiko, a Nigerian actress, has expressed her sincere gratitude to Funke Akindele for appearing in her most recent film, “Everybody Loves Jenifa.”
Destiny Etiko talked openly about the benefits of being a cast member of “Everybody Loves Jenifa” for her career during the premiere’s private dinner, which was hosted by Funke Akindele, her senior colleague.
The movie star claimed that because she appeared in films using Asaba as the setting, her coworkers often made fun of her.
Destiny said that the stereotype caused her to start losing faith in her abilities, therefore she was grateful that Funke Akindele recognised her potential.
Inspired by her message, Funke Akindele got up from her chair to give Destiny a hug.
The filmmaker emphasised that she has always thought the best of Destiny and urged her not to let her detractors stop her.
