Prosecutors said Thursday that over his 20-year sexual abuse conspiracy, Sean “Diddy” Combs trafficked three women.
As they filed a fresh criminal accusation against the imprisoned hip-hop entrepreneur, they made this statement.
Although there are no more allegations in the three-count indictment, it claims that he transported three female victims and commercial sex workers both domestically and abroad.
Remember that there was only one female victim listed in Combs’ initial indictment from last September?
The prosecutors requested that Combs, 55, be arraigned again after he entered a not guilty plea to the initial charge.
According to information obtained, his trial in Manhattan federal court is set for May 5.
“Mr. Combs is as committed as ever to fighting these charges and winning at trial,” Combs’ lawyer Marc Agnifilo said in a statement.
Combs was charged in the indictment with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Prosecutors from the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office claim that Combs sexually abused women through his record company, Bad Boy Entertainment, and business empire.
Combs was accused of abusing women by forcing them to participate in freak offs, which were videotaped sexual performances with male sex workers who were occasionally transferred over state lines.
According to the latest accusation, Combs mistreated his staff members and others who saw him carry out violent deeds.
Additionally, according to the prosecution, Combs lured women with promises of love relationships or career support, money assistance, and substances like ecstasy and ketamine.
Combs and his friends were accused of distributing illegal narcotics, including hallucinogenic mushrooms and methamphetamine, according to the indictment.
None of the alleged victims were given names, although one is reportedly Combs’ ex-girlfriend, R&B artist Cassie, also known as Casandra Ventura.
She filed a civil action against him, alleging rape, sexual enslavement, and repeated physical abuse, but the case was resolved the day after it was filed.
But Combs refuted the accusations.
Prosecutors claimed that Combs was seen on a hotel security camera hitting and dragging a lady who was attempting to leave a freak off in March 2016, an occurrence that closely matched Cassie’s account of an alleged attack.
Following the video’s airing on CNN in May of last year, Combs issued an apology. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has stated that the footage does not prove sex trafficking.
