Easter: APC sends urgent message to all Nigerians

During the Easter season, Nigerians have been advised by the All Progressives Congress, APC, to embrace hope, patience, sacrifice, and perseverance.

Noting that these are some of the priceless qualities and characteristics inherent in Jesus’ death and resurrection, the party made this declaration while celebrating Easter with Nigerians.

Easter, the joyous end of the Lenten season of penitence and fasting, is essential to the Christian religion, according to a statement released by APC spokesperson Felix Morka.

He emphasized that it honours Jesus Christ’s resurrection, which represents both the strength of light over darkness and God’s everlasting victory over death.

He asked Christians to pray that President Bola Tinubu will be strengthened in his will to address and overcome the nation’s unresolved socioeconomic problems and that the transforming blessings of Easter will remain with all Nigerians.

“May the worthy example of Christ inspire us to extend love and kindness to the needy and less privileged, as we remain steadfast in prayer for peace, security, unity, and the sustained progress of our beloved nation.

“May God continue to bless and protect our troops on the frontlines as they defend our freedoms and our homeland.

“Happy Easter celebration, dear compatriots,” the APC spokesman said.
