Election losers using bandits to kill Nigerians in North – APC chieftain, Igbokwe

APC chieftain Joe Igbokwe stated on Thursday that election losers are allegedly using bandits to harm Nigerians in the North.

Igbokwe claimed that these individuals are exploiting banditry to gain cheap political advantages.

In a post on his Facebook page, he cautioned against sacrificing innocent lives for political gains.

He wrote: “Election losers are employing bandits to kill Nigerians in the North to score cheap political points. Sacrificing Nigerians for election purposes will boomerang.

“Those sponsoring the banditry may be the victims in the fullness of time.”

This statement comes amid ongoing disputes between the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), led by Nuhu Ribadu, and former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai.

El-Rufai accused ONSA under Ribadu of paying ransom to bandits in the North, claims which ONSA has denied, calling them baseless.

The North continues to experience frequent attacks from bandits and terrorists.
