Premier League Matchday 32 is set for this weekend, beginning Saturday afternoon and stretching through to Monday night.

This follows the conclusion of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League quarter-final first-leg matches earlier in the week.

The highlight of the Premier League this weekend is the clash between Newcastle United and Manchester United.

Newcastle will host Manchester United at St. James’ Park on Sunday evening.

So, what other fixtures could potentially deliver unexpected outcomes in the Premier League this weekend?

1. Man City vs Crystal Palace: The match will be held on Saturday afternoon at the Etihad Stadium. Manchester City currently rank higher than Crystal Palace in the Premier League standings, with Pep Guardiola’s side in 6th place, nine points clear of Palace, who are in 11th. The first encounter between the two teams ended in a 2-2 draw last December at Selhurst Park, and there’s potential for Crystal Palace to surprise City on their home ground.

2. Arsenal vs Brentford: The match will take place at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening. Arsenal secured a 3-1 victory in the reverse fixture in January. Mikel Arteta’s team is currently in 2nd place on the Premier League table, while Brentford are in 12th. The Bees will aim to avoid another loss to Arsenal this season and could potentially secure a positive result in their away match against the Gunners.

3. Chelsea vs Ipswich: This match is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Stamford Bridge. Ipswich won the reverse fixture 2-0 last December. Chelsea are currently in 4th place on the Premier League table, while Ipswich are in 18th. Despite the gap, Ipswich could cause another upset against Chelsea this season, having already won the previous encounter, and could complete a league double over Enzo Maresca’s team.

4. Liverpool vs West Ham: This match will be held on Sunday at Anfield. Liverpool triumphed 5-0 in the reverse fixture at the London Stadium last December. Arne Slot’s side currently sit at the top of the Premier League table, while West Ham are in 16th place. However, the Hammers will aim to prevent another loss to Liverpool this season and may spring a surprise in front of the home crowd.
