EPL: Alan Shearer predicts Man Utd vs Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City fixtures

Former Newcastle United striker, Alan Shearer, has shared his predictions for the upcoming Premier League fixtures this weekend.

Liverpool, currently 13 points clear at the top of the table, will host bottom-placed Southampton at Anfield.

Arsenal will aim to reduce the gap when they face Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The action kicks off with Nottingham Forest welcoming the champions, Manchester City, as they continue their pursuit of a Champions League spot.

Shearer shared his thoughts with BetFair:

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City – “Forest have had an incredible season, and things could get even better for them. Just imagine if they finish in the top four and win the FA Cup what a moment that would be for Forest fans!” Prediction: Draw.

Liverpool vs Southampton – “After their recent tough match against PSG, Southampton couldn’t have asked for a worse game to face. If you were choosing a fixture this weekend, Southampton away to Liverpool would be it, especially with Liverpool gearing up for PSG on Tuesday. I can only see one outcome here.” Prediction: Liverpool win.

Chelsea vs Leicester – “Leicester have been struggling, and Chelsea are strong at home. I can’t see anything other than a Chelsea win here.” Prediction: Chelsea win.

Manchester United vs Arsenal – “Arsenal had a relatively easy time the other night, while Manchester United have been having their difficulties. Given that, I’m going for an away win for Arsenal.” Prediction: Arsenal win.
