Arsenal’s leader, Martin Odegaard, has cautioned their Premier League championship contenders before the closing months of the season.

The Gunners are presently in second position on the table, six points behind top-ranked Liverpool, who have one outstanding match.

Nonetheless, Odegaard is confident his squad still possesses “another level.”

The Norway international also acknowledged he must enhance his goal-scoring record.

Odegaard told The Mirror: “For the team, we’re in a good position.

“But still I feel like we have another gear, another step that we can take and hopefully we can hit that top form now until the end of the season.

“It was the same last year. We really hit top form towards the end of the season. Hopefully we can do that again and finish with a good run.

“It’s (goals) been something that I haven’t been good enough with this season. I feel like I’ve been in enough situations and created a lot for others but I haven’t been clinical enough with the finishing. So that’s something that I really want to step up towards the end of the season.”
