With Chelsea and Arsenal showing interest, Aston Villa is demanding an outrageous price for their forward, Jhon Duran.
At the present, Duran is among the most sought-after strikers in Europe.
Before the January transfer window ends, teams including Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham, Paris Saint-Germain, and Al Nassr are looking to sign the Colombian.
Aston Villa recently turned down West Ham’s £57 million offer, and Al Nassr is interested in the 21-year-old as a possible replacement for captain Cristiano Ronaldo, whose contract with the Saudi Pro League team expires at the end of the current campaign.
Duran was nearly signed by Chelsea last summer, and Arsenal has been in contact in recent months as they look for a goal scorer in the wake of Gabriel Jesus’ recent injury.
This month, both Premier League London clubs are eager to increase their attacking alternatives.
TalkSPORT, however, claims that Aston Villa is seeking at least £85 million for Duran.
After Ollie Watkins, Duran is Aston Villa boss Unai Emery’s second-choice No. 9.
Two years ago, he paid £18 million to join Aston Villa from Chicago Fire, and his current deal with the Premier League team expires in 2030.
