EPL: Chelsea take decision on Pochettino after 5-0 loss to Arsenal

Mauricio Pochettino’s first season at Chelsea will not be reviewed until the summer, the club announced. This is in spite of some Chelsea supporters demanding that the Argentine be fired after Tuesday night’s 5-0 loss to Arsenal.

The Gunners’ victory was cemented by two goals from Kai Havertz, a second double from Ben White, and an early strike by Leandro Trossard.

It was the Blues’ eleventh Premier League loss of the year and hurt their chances of playing in Europe the following year.

Days prior to their 1-0 loss to Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, Chelsea suffered a defeat at the hands of Arsenal.

However, according to MailOnline, Pochettino will continue to lead regardless of how the season plays out and his performance will be the subject of a full review once the campaign is over.
