EPL: Man Utd announces changes in club’s management

On Tuesday night, Manchester United revealed additional adjustments to its leadership team. 

Cliff Baty, the chief financial officer, and Patrick Stewart, the acting CEO, were confirmed in an official statement to retire by mutual consent at the end of the current season. 

The CEO of Ratcliffe’s INEOS Sport, Jean-Claude Blanc, will assume leadership duties until former Manchester City executive Omar Berrada assumes the position on July 13, as the new era under co-owner Jim Ratcliffe continues to take shape. 

Roger Bell, a former chief financial officer of INEOS Sport, will succeed Baty. 

“I would like to personally thank both Patrick and Cliff for their support in helping us get to know the club and making us feel welcome and I respect their decisions to now move on as we establish a new management team for the club,” Ratcliffe said.

Former football director John Murtough left earlier this month, while former CEO Richard Arnold resigned in November.
