According to Mail Sport, Manchester United will only fire manager Erik Ten Hag after the club plays Manchester City in the FA Cup final later this month.
On Monday night, the Red Devils were humiliated 4-0 at Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Ten Hag is under more pressure now that United is battling to make it to any European competition the next season.
However, it’s anticipated that Ten Hag won’t be fired before they take on City in the FA Cup final on May 25 at Wembley.
With four games remaining until the season ends—three in the Premier League and the FA Cup final—it is thought there will be little benefit to Ten Hag’s removal.
If United defeats City at Wembley, Ten Hag might feel he can stay in charge for a third season, but the ultimate call will be made following that game.
