EPL: Rio Ferdinand names Premier League Player of the Season

Phil Foden of Manchester City has been awarded the Premier League Player of the 2023–24 Season thus far by Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand.

Foden has performed admirably for Man City thus far this year.

The England international scored twice the last time Man City defeated Manchester United in the Premier League.

According to Ferdinand, when asked if Foden has been the best player so far this season, the Manchester Evening News reported:

“I would say yes. He is in that mix, definitely.

“When you think about Player of the Season, who else is there? No one is jumping off the page.”
