EPL: Rio Ferdinand names team that will ‘sneak’ into top four

Rio Ferdinand, a legend of Manchester United, believes his old team may “sneak” into the Premier League’s top four this year.

The Red Devils are six points behind rivals Manchester City, who are in fourth position in seventh place in the standings.

In addition, Erik ten Hag’s team has already dropped eight games this season, most recently against Bournemouth and West Ham.

Ferdinand, though, believes United can make it into the top four.

“Who said sneak in? I didn’t say sneak in; United will be there.” he stated on TNT.

Nottingham Forest will host United in the late kickoff on Saturday.
