France is the “real favourite” to win this year’s Euros, according to former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh.
Oliseh claims France’s return to the national team, led by midfielder N’Golo Kante, makes them favorites.
Before being called up by Les Bleus manager Didier Deschamps for the summer’s Euro 2024 campaign, Kante had not played for France in the previous two years.
In France’s opening Euro 2024 match, the 33-year-old, a key team member that won the World Cup in 2018, was impressed by helping his country overcome Austria 1-0.
Kante joined Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League, having previously played for Chelsea.
“The “Gigantic Alien of Football” is back!! what a pleasure to watch one of my favourite defensive midfielders of all times, Ngolo Kante back to International football for France yesterday,” Oliseh wrote on X on Tuesday.
“I now feel France is a real favorite to win the Euros!!”
