Euro 2024: Two teams qualify for quarter-finals

The first two teams to advance to the Euro 2024 quarterfinals have been determined.

This comes after two Round of 16 games were finished on Saturday.

Germany’s 2-0 victory over Denmark in Dortmund secured their spot.

In the first half, there were no goals scored; however, Kai Havertz opened the score from the penalty spot.

Subsequently, Jamal Musiala broke free to score his third goal of the match.

Germany will now play the winner of Georgia vs. Spain.

In the other match, Switzerland defeated Italy 2-0 and advanced to face the winner of the England vs. Slovakia quarterfinal match.
