FIFA Ranking: Super Eagles gets 42nd position in 2023

The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) announced its end-of-year men’s ranking on Thursday, and the Super Eagles came in at number 42.

Last month, the Super Eagles were ranked in the same spot.

The FIFA website has the most recent ranking available.

Additionally, Jose Peseiro’s team held onto sixth place in Africa.

The top five teams on the continent are Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Senegal, and Tunisia.

With a strong showing at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire next month, the Super Eagles will be looking to move up the rankings.
