OPay Digital Services has partnered with Brace-Up The Young Foundation to provide school supplies to over 650 students from various secondary schools in Ibadan, Oyo State. The initiative, part of the Back-to-School outreach, aims to promote inclusive access to education and support schoolchildren across Nigeria.

The firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, Itoro Udo, emphasized the importance of investing in children for the long-term benefit of society. “At OPay, we believe that real impact begins with the child. When we equip students with the tools they need, we are not just providing school bags or books; we are opening doors to possibilities,” she said.
The outreach saw 650 children receive school bags, books, stationery, and learning aids in preparation for the upcoming academic session. The second phase is scheduled for September 2025
The founder of Brace-Up The Young Foundation, Obasanjo Fajemirokun, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to supporting young learners in underserved communities. “Education is a powerful tool for transformation. Our mission is to level the playing field for children who might otherwise be left behind,” he stated.
The Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Hon. Olusegun Olayiwola, represented by Mr. S.O. Oladokun, commended the foundation’s consistent efforts toward educational development. “This initiative is a welcome development. It aligns with the ministry’s goal of ensuring that every child has access to education across the state,” he noted.
