Pukka Logistics and Support Services Ltd., in collaboration with international philanthropists Sudeep Ramnani and Jai Mahtani, has extended support to Nigerians living with disabilities in Lagos. The initiative, launched in March 2024, aims to combat hunger and food poverty across Nigeria’s 774 local government areas.

Akingbelu-Banjo, representing Pukka Logistics, stated, “So far, thousands of Nigerians have benefitted from the initiative. This effort is part of our commitment to supporting the Nigerian government’s fight against hunger and food insecurity.” She added, “We are inspired by the resilience of Nigerians and remain committed to making a positive impact, one community at a time.

Florence Austin, speaking on behalf of the Centre for Citizens with Disabilities, expressed gratitude, saying, “We are deeply grateful for this act of kindness. It is thoughtful, timely, and very much needed. We hope this gesture inspires more individuals and organisations to support persons with disabilities.”

The event featured the distribution of food items and messages of hope to beneficiaries at the Centre’s office in Opebi, Ikeja
