First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has declared that Nigeria remains too strong and resilient to succumb to intimidation from insurgents.
She made the statement on Saturday while meeting with members of the Ekiti State Traditional Rulers’ Council at the Government House in Ado-Ekiti.
The First Lady expressed optimism that the country would soon overcome its current security challenges.
She stated that President Bola Tinubu remains fully committed to tackling insecurity across the nation and is working relentlessly to restore lasting peace.
Oluremi Tinubu also acknowledged the support Nigeria continues to receive from international partners in addressing security threats, expressing confidence that the situation would improve considerably in the near future.
“Nigerians are too great to be intimidated by insurgents. Let us remain hopeful and continue to pray for the nation.
“God would not abandon the country in its efforts to overcome its challenges,” she said.
